Have you heard? JIPL has just attended IFAT in Munich – the world’s largest fair for water and wastewater and we wanted to share with you the secrets of the experts themselves… INVENT with its ground-breaking products is the world’s leader in the area of mixing and aeration technology for water and wastewater treatment.
JIPL and INVENT are dedicated to the development and implementation of pioneering technologies and products for the treatment of water and wastewater. Invent are Europe’s leading designers of mixing and aeration systems, and they have a wide range of quality engineered, cutting edge equipment, from dedicated mixers, combined mixer/aeration systems through to specific aeration systems for both tank and pond operations.
In the field of aeration Invent’s iDISC®- Membrane Diffuser stands out.
The innovative concept of the iDISC®- Membrane Diffuser is the combination of sophisticated design and its robust construction resulting in its capability to operate over a wide air flow range whilst achieving high SOTE. This will assist most wastewater treatment plants around the world to reduce their energy consumption and therefore, reduce their operating costs.
Efficiency and cost effectiveness – two words that sum up INVENT technology.
When JIPL supplied new aeration systems for Tahuna’s WwTP upgrade. they based this high-efficiency aeration system on Invent’s latest diffuser, the i-Disc 260mm diameter EPDM Membrane Fine Bubble Disc Diffuser.
Invent i-Disc’s modular diffuser system, with bayonet fitting diffuser bodies, quick change aeration media and prefabricated piping elements, provides minimum installation and maintenance downtime, as well as the ultimate flexibility.
Manufactured in Europe to the highest EU standards, the Invent i-Disc 260 diffuser includes three levels of backflow prevention, as well as a flow limiting valve.
The Invent i-Disc 260 Membrane Disc Diffusers are designed for both continuous and intermittent use.
In the Invent fine bubble aeration systems, pressurised air is distributed through pipe work to the diffusers. The grids of pipes with diffusers installed, called an aeration group, cover the whole tank floor and the pipe work is fixed to the basin bottom.
The aeration system was delivered to the Tahuna site as a complete kit and included all necessary accessories for installation. The prefabricated, modular elements (pipes were cut to length) made installation fast and easy.
JIPL also supplied a grit removal system in the form of a coarse bubble system, which they installed along the wall of the tank to provide the appropriate agitation required to remove incoming grit.
