Temperzone Ltd (Auckland) engaged JIPL to provide a fully automated powder coating plant to replace their existing plant which was creating a major bottle-neck in the production of their large range of commercial air conditioning units.
The plant is built on a specially-designed mezzanine, and JIPL’s comprehensive turnkey design includes a power and free overhead conveyor, a stainless steel, 36 m long, four-stage, spray pre-treatment line (with process tanks in a bund on the factory floor), a drying oven, auto-powder coating plant (provided by Nordson), and finally a 38m long, two stage, curing oven. Special features include JIPL’s innovative air seals, a waste water treatment plant, and a very comprehensive control and process management system that provides real time data and trends for control and plant management.
