JIPL is pleased to announce that it now supplies Pieralisi separation solutions.
The Pieralisi Group provides solutions to all technological problems of solid-liquid and solid-liquid-liquid separation, thanks to decades of experience and technical know-how developed in the industrial centrifuge market. Over 40,000 Pieralisi machines and plants are installed worldwide making Pieralisi the undisputed market leader in centrifugal technology applications.
Decanter Centrifuges
– how they Work
The decanter centrifuge is used for the clarifying of liquids in which suspended solids are present. The separation of solids and liquids takes place within a cylindrical / conical rotating bowl.
The heavier solids collect on the periphery of the bowl and are continually removed by the internal conveyor. A specific polyelectrolyte may be added to the product being fed to the machine in order to improve the solid liquid separation.
Centrifugal Separators
Pieralisi vertical separators are ideally suited to separation processes where the physical characteristics of sedimentation can be applied due to density difference.
Pieralisi Vertical Separators utilise very high rotational speed, a unique design and special materials. They generate a very high
centrifugal force which, when used for sedimentation purposes, ensures extremely efficient equipment.
Advantages of Centrifugal Separation:
- Very economical compared to other separation processes
- Compact size of the equipment
- Low capital investment
- Versatility
- Ease of use
- Low operating costs
- High performance
Pieralisi Vertical Separators combine very high rotational speed, a unique design and special materials. They generate a very high centrifugal force which, when used for sedimentation purposes, ensures extremely efficient equipment. The mixture to be separated is forced through a conical disc stack, where multi-layer sedimentation takes place. The separation happens very quickly as the mixture passes through the parallel thin channels of the disc stack.
